Mr. Norman Allen Wells, 74, of Juniper Ridge Drive, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at a local hospital afer and extended illness. He was a native of Smithsboro, Ken., and a former resident of Jacksonville and Pensacola, Fla., before moving to Brewton seven years ago. He was a retired chief plant operator with Air Products and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Lansdon Wells of Brewton; two brothers, Samuel Wells of Lake Havasu, Ariz., and Billy Ray Wells of Crossville, Tenn.; three sisters, Mildred Hylton of Dillsboro, Ind., Hilda Brashear of Milan, Ind., and Mary Jo Disney of Sunman, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Craig officiating and Williams Memorial directing.
