Mrs. Annie Price Sibert, 84, of Forrest Avenue, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, in a Bay Minette nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Clio, and a former resident of Barbour County. She was of the Presbyterian faith, a graduate of Jacksonville State and Auburn University, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the National Educators Association. She was a member of the Retired Teacher Association and retired from Faulkner State Community College.
She is survived by her son, Ned (Sarah) Sibert of East Brewton; a daughter, Mary Siebert of Rapid City, S.D.; three sisters, Jean Hartzog of Clio, Sarah Tillman of Ariton, and Lillian Kettler of Mobile; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Fitts officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
