On Dec. 3 and 4, D.W. McMillan Trust hosted the Escambia County Chapter of Outdoors Without Limits for a two-day event of hunting, eating, and fellowship.
Outdoors Without Limits is a non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for those with disabilities to enjoy outdoor activities that might not otherwise be available.
Gene White, Virgil Armstrong, and Rigby McMillan spearheaded this year's event.
A total of 20 hunters harvested 17 deer, one bobcat and one wild hog over the course of the two-day hunt.
McMillan said the event took a community effort to put on this years hunt.
Plans are already underway for next years hunt.
If you would like to participate or assist in any way contact Gene White at 251-296-3055.
