Mr. James Heaton, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008. He was a native of Castleberry and a resident of Florida for 43 years. He retired after 37 years of service with the U.S. Government as a property manager.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Heaton of Melbourne; two daughters, Janice Heaton of Melbourne, and Allison Heaton (Silvio) Silenzi of Georgia; a brother, Lewis (Sarah) Heaton of Alabama; three sisters, Mary Gayton of Texas, Drucilla (Paul) Hubbird of South Carolina, and Patricia Heaton of Alabama; five grandchildren, Jovet, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Lili and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Burial followed at Florida Memorial Gardens with Florida Funeral Home directing.
