Mrs. Christine Zepernick Jackson, 69, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in a retirement center after a brief illness. She was a native and longtime resident of Brewton, before moving to Robertsdale. She was a retired cashier from the retail sales industry.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Jackson of Castleberry, and Joseph Jackson of Pensacola, Fla.; three daughters, Dollie Jones of Castleberry, Susie Broadhead of Creola, and Brenda Jo Karchak of Roberstdale; a brother, Willie Hutchcraft of Ohio; a sister, Clara Billingsly of Brewton; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Calhoun officiating. Burial followed at Brown Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
