W.S. Neal varsity Eagles get 15 wins

The W.S. Neal varsity Eagles capped off one of their best regular seasons in years as they defeated Frisco City 55-31 Monday night to finish 15-11.
W.S. Neal had four wins last season, no wins on the court during the 2006-2007 seasons and just one win during the 2005-2006 seasons.
W.S. Neal used an early 17-3 lead in the first quarter and extended their lead to 28-13 at the half with an 11-10 advantage in the second quarter.
In the third quarter, the Eagles pushed their lead to 40-22 with a 12-9 advantage and then had a 15-9 advantage in the fourth quarter to claim the 24-point win.
The Eagles were led by William Shell with 12 points, Jeremy Nicholson with nine points and Chris Payne with eight points.
Bob Elliott and Rashad Crook had seven points each and Sam Ewing had six.
Ashton Elliott chipped in four points and Kendrick Floyd added two points.
The Eagles will travel to Mobile on Friday to take on B.C. Rain in the area tournament.
Game time is set for 7 p.m.
