W.S. Neal High School teacher Larry Tindell was charged Wednesday with three counts of possession of child pornography.
Tindell, 48, of 4014 Ridge Road, was arrested Tuesday on a grand jury indictment of one count each of possession and distribution of an unlawful substance.
At a bond hearing Wednesday afternoon, Judge Bert Rice ordered Tindell held on $100,000 bond per count of possession of child pornography. He was already held on $125,000 total bond on the drug charges.
Law enforcement officials said Wednesday that the case is ongoing. Escambia County Sheriff Grover Smith said it appeared photos found at Tindell's residence had been mailed to him and did not involve any local children.
