Mrs. Angela Diana White, 49, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at her residence. She was a native of Chicago, Ill., and had been a resident of Flomaton for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Flomaton First Baptist Church, the Flomaton Band Boosters and the Flomaton Quarterback Club. She also owned and operated Angie’s Dress Shop in Flomaton in the 1980s and was very active in the school activties.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Ray White of Flomaton; her father, Robert Burkett of Brewton; her mother, Bobbie Douglas of Brewton; her sons, Earnest Ray (Laci) White II of Cherry Point, N.C., and Colton Dakota White of Flomaton; a daughter, Cierra Eve White of Flomaton; her brothers, Robert Burkett and Greg Douglas, both of Brewton, and Michael Burkett of Courtland; her sisters, Crystall Nall of Brewton, and April Jackson of Decatur; two grandchildren, Ian Drake White and Scarlet Nevaeh White; and special cousins, Dennis Bondurant and Maegan Bondurant.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. at Flomaton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dustin Stockstill and Dr. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Joe Paul McDavid, Dewie Bondurant Jr., Daniel Moore, Jeff White, Doug White and Justin Tullis.
