Mrs. Janice Marie Summers Jackson, 57, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Hornersville, Mo., and a long time resident of Brewton. She was of the Baptist faith and a retail clerk.
She is survived by a special friend, Joe Noonchester of Brewton; a step-son, Gary Jackson of Owossa, Mich.; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Jackson of Owossa; a brother, Eddie (Debbie) Summers of Flint, Mich.; three sisters; Delorice (Rodney) of Merritt of Benson, Ariz., Brenda Meadows of Lakeland, Fla., and Linda (Ron) Light of Grand Blanc, Mich.; and one grandchild, Kyla Jackson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 12 noon at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. David Dykes officiating. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
