TRM JV beats WSN

In a controversy-filled game late in the game, the T.R. Miller Tiger JV team escaped with a 10-9 win over W.S. Neal Thursday in Brewton.
With W.S. Neal leading 7-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning, the Tigers scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to hold a 9-7 lead heading into the final inning.
In the top of the inning, Bradley Brown had a game-tying triple that tied the game at 9-9 in the top of the seventh inning.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, T.R. Miller loaded the bases. After having some controversial plays in the inning, along with some in sixth inning, the Tiger’s Tyler Dehoff drove in the game-winning RBI to give the Tigers of Brewton a 10-9 win over the Eagles.
W.S. Neal stuck first in the game with two runs in the first inning, but T.R. Miller scored three in the bottom of the inning to claim a 3-2 lead.
W.S. Neal tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the second inning and Miller then claimed a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the third inning.
In the top of the fourth, W.S. Neal plated four runs to hold a 7-4 lead.
W.S. Neal held the three-run lead until the bottom of the sixth inning when the Tigers struck for five runs in the inning to claim a 9-7 lead.
W.S. Neal scored two in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game at 9-9 and T.R. Miller scored the winning run in the bottom of the inning.
Both teams were set to take part in the W.S. Neal JV tournament over the weekend.
