Mr. Bobby Marshall Freeman, 19, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, in Baldwin County, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a native of Richmond, Va., and a former resident of Powhatan, Va., before moving to Brewton 15 years ago. He was employed in the construction industry and was of the Baptist faith. He was a 2007 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, where he was involved in football and baseball. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Lee Freeman; his maternal grandfather, Bobby Long Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Marie Burnett; and his uncle, Bobby Long Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Lee Long Freeman of Brewton; two brothers, Cory Freeman and James Freeman, both of Brewton; and a half-brother, Dustin Easter of Virginia.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 18, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Bryan Garrett and the Rev. Rex Long officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
