Mrs. Cheratta Renee Jenkins Likely, 32, died March 5, 2009. She had been employed at the Conecuh County Courthouse and attended Ed Reid Technical School.
She is survived by her husband, Frankie Likely of Evergreen; three sons, Mason Jenkins, Darius Jenkins and Damien Jenkins, all of Evergreen; her mother, Eloise Jenkins (Michael Darby) of Paterson, N.J.; her father, Sammy Lee McCreary of Evergreen; her stepfather, Ronnie Thomas of Evergreen; two sisters and two brothers, Melody Porter of Castleberry, Tyvione McCreary, Khadisja Dees and Latreal McCreary, all of Evergreen; her mother and father-in-law, Willie and Azzie Likely of Evergreen; her grandmother, Queen Anna Jenkins of Castleberry, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at Second Marietta Missionary Baptist Church in Castleberry, with the Rev. Donell Young officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
