JDCC Lady Warhawk softball falls to Wabash

After posting a win streak, the JDCC Lady Warhawk softball team dropped two games to Wabash Community College to fall to 9-12 overall.
JDCC lost game one 4-1 and then fell in game two 4-3.
Game one: Wabash 4, JDCC 1
JDCC scored one run in the first inning and failed to plate anymore as JDCC fell to 9-12 with a 4-1 loss.
Wabash scored two runs in the first inning and two in the fifth inning to claim the three-run win.
Ashleigh Allgood was 2-for-3 with a double at the plate for the Lady Warhawks.
Megan Denney was 1-for-2 and Aleah Payne was 1-for-1 with one RBI and a double.
Allgood took the loss on the mound for Jefferson Davis. Allgood allowed four earned runs in the seven innings, walked one and struck out two in the loss.
Game two: Wabash 4, JDCC 3
With the game tied 3-3 in the top of the eighth inning, Wabash scored one run and held JDCC scoreless to claim a 4-3 win.
The loss dropped JDCC to 9-13 overall.
Carla Ray took the loss on the mound for JDCC. She allowed two earned runs (three total) on eight hits, walked three and struck out one in the loss.
Allgood went 3 2/3 in the loss and allowed no earned runs (one run total) on three hits, walked two and struck out two in the loss.
Sarah Vardeman was 1-for-3 and Tiffany Jean Duncan was 1-for-2.
Denney was 2-for-4 with one RBI and Kristin Myers was 1-for-3. Jessica Morris was 2-for-4 with one RBI and Payne was 3-for-4 with one RBI.
Amber Wilson was 1-for-4 in the loss.
