Mrs. Bertha Marie Bogan, 25, died Saturday, March 21, 2009, in an accident. She attended Hillcrest High School and was employed by Burke’s Outlet in Brewton.
She is survived by her husband, Donny Rae Bogan; her children, Mahyiah Donna’Re, Damyia Nijae and Kamijah La’Catherine; her father and step-mother, Cleveland (Brenda) Thomas; three sisters, Lesia (Thomas) Jones, Linda Gill and Laquitta Carldwell, all of Evergreen; two brothers, Vincent (Sylvia) Gill of Brewton, and Cleveland Thomas Jr. of Evergreen; her in-laws, L.J. Jr. and Eula Mae Bogan; and many other special friends, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at The House of God Church. Burial followed at House of God Church Memorial Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
