Mrs. Jamie Missildine, 29, died March 27, 2009. She was a native of Jasper, and had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., before moving to Brewton. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs. She had worked as a medical secretary at Healthmark Regional Medical Center and for Dr. James Howell. She also worked as a dispatcher with the Walton County Sheriff’s Department. She was preceded in death by her sister, Malinda Ann Watts; and her grandfathers, Morris Gilbreath, and Cecil Watts.
She is survived by her parents, Pastor Larry Watts and Phyllis Watts of Brewton; a son, Braydon Watts of Brewton; a daughter, Jenna Watts of Brewton; a brother, Jonathan Watts of Brewton; two sisters, Mendi (Mike) Davis of DeFuniak Springs, and Marie (James) Hurley of Freeport, Fla.; and her grandmothers, Iola Gilbreath, and Pauline Watts, both of Double Springs, Fla.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel in DeFuniak Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Watts and the Rev. Bobby Conner officiating. Another service will be held on Friday, April 3, at Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Haleyville. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Clary-Glenn Funeral Home directing. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church of East Brewton.
