Mrs. Louise Green Stanford, 54, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Birmingham. She was a native of Atmore and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth E. and Carra Corenelie Ikner Green.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Stanford; two sons, Michael D. Stanford and Gregory W. (Jessica) Stanford, all of Castleberry;  a brother, William E. Geen of Pineville, La.; two sisters, Linda Miller of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Judy (William) Kirby of Atmore; and many other friends and relatives.
Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, April 1, at 2 p.m. at McCullough Cemetery in McCullough, with Brother Russ McDonald officiating and Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home of Atmore, directing.
