Mrs. Eunice Faircloth, 84, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at her Brewton residence. She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County, Ala., and was retired from Chemstrand/Monsanto where she worked as a drawtwist operator. She was a member of the Alco Baptist Church, and she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Faircloth and a son, Wayne Emmons.
She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Emmons of Brewton; a brother, Lee “Sonny” Selman of Brewton; three sisters, Eula Gregory of Ferriday, La., Mary Powell of Mobile, and Fay “Pete” Harris of Quincy, Fla.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, at 10 a.m. at Alco Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Yuhasz officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
