In the class 4A area 1 tournament for the W.S. Neal Lady Eagles in Mobile at UMS-Wright, W.S. Neal went 1-2 to end their season with a 6-15 record.
W.S. Neal lost game one to Jackson 17-2 in three innings before defeating B.C. Rain 7-1 in the losers bracket game Tuesday night.
After defeating B.C. Rain, W.S. Neal got the loser of UMS-Wright and Jackson and fell 16-1 to UMS-Wright Wednesday to end their season.
Jackson then defeated UMS-Wright again to claim the area championship and UMS-Wright claimed the runner-up slot.
JACKSON 17, W.S. NEAL 2
In game one, W.S. Neal had only one hit as they lost 17-2 to Jackson to fall to 5-14 overall this season.
W.S. NEAL 7, B.C. RAIN 1
Lady Eagle Kaitlin Hadaway struck out 13 batters and allowed only two hits as W.S. Neal defeated B.C. Rain 7-1 in the losers bracket game win in the 4A Area 1 tournament at UMS-Wright.
Renee Boatwright and Katie Elliott each had two hits for the Eagles, as they improved to 6-14 with the six-run win.
Boatwright was 2-for-4 with a run scored along with Elliott who was 2-for-4 with a run scored. 
UMS-Wright 16, W.S. Neal 1
In the third game of the tournament for W.S. Neal, UMS-Wright defeated the Lady Eagles 16-1 on Wednesday to end W.S. Neal’s season with a 6-15 record.
