Mr. Charlie Dee Dease Jr., 75, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at his Brewton residence. He was a native of Bullock County and had been a resident of Brewton for the past 18 years, coming from Pensacola, Fla. He was a heavy duty equipment operator for a construction company during his working years. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as senior deacon.
He is survived by his wife,, Joyce C. Dease of Brewton; a son, Rickey Dewayne (Tracey) Dease of Auburn; a brother, Rex Dease of Cantonment, Fla.; a sister, Pearl Petty of Jackson; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 24, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Richburg officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Joey Carter, Donald Odom, Greg Hagen, Rusty Carden, Gary Hollinger and Shaun Yuhasz. Honorary pallbearers will be L.J. Watson, O’Neil Dawson and Cleve Roberson.
