Mr. Stevie Gene Singleton, 60, of Tippens Eddy Road, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Brewton, and was a retired millwright in the construction industry. He was a member of the Potter’s House Apostolic Church.
He is survived by his brother, Kimsey (Martha Dawn) Singleton of Brewton; a daughter-in-law, Shannon Singleton of Flomaton; and a granddaughter, Jacqueline Singleton of Flomaton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 26, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Madden and the Rev. Fred White officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
