Mrs. Annie Lou Slay Littlefield, 88, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, in Wing. She was a native of DeFuniak Springs, Fla. She attended Bradley Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Mary McLendon Slay, her husbands, Dock Watson and Walter Littlefield; brothers, Alphus, Nick, Eugene, Bud, Dock and Floyd Slay; and a sister, Ida Lee Carroll.
She is survived by her daughters, Ina Ruth Price of Lakeland, Fla., and Edna Ruth Elliott of Wing; two brothers, Odie Slay of Leonia, Fla., and Albert (Mavis) Slay of Center Hill, Fla.; a sister, Mary Snellgrove of Ozark; four grandsons, Devon (Pattie) Gainey, Ronnie (Debbie) Gainey, Royce Gene Gainey and Jimmy Price; two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10, at 10 a.m. at Bradley Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Thomas Earl Elliott and the Rev. Roy Davis officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs with Clary-Glen Funeral Home of DeFuniak Springs directing.
