Ms. Peggy Elaine Lowery, 56, of Old Castleberry Road, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, in a Birmingham medical facility after a brief illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Brewton. She was a member of Appleton Assembly of God Church and a bookkeeper/secretary in oil/safety sales.
She is survived by her parents, Comer Lee and Betty Lowery of Brewton; her grandmother, Ollie Mae Bartlett of Castleberry; two sisters, Kathy (Robert) Jernigan and Sherry Craft of Brewton; three nephews, Lee Jernigan, Paul Jernigan and Danny Craft; and four great-nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 8, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Fitts officiating. Burial followed at Zion Hill Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
