Edgar Callaway McCreary, 83, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, in Dothan. He was a native of Conecuh County and a resident of Evergreen. He was a retired farmer and cattle rancher.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth McCreary of Evergreen; a son, John McCreary of Marietta, Ga.; two daughters, Susan Landreneanu, of Dothan, and Anna Bodiford of Evergreen; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at Brooklyn Baptist Church. Burial followed at Brooklyn Baptist Cemetery with Cope Funeral Home of Evergreen directing.
