From staff reports
The Escambia-Brewton Career Technical Center chapter of Future Business Leaders of America collected 32 gallons of soda tabs to donate to the Mobile chapter of Ronald McDonald House for recycling.
Money collected from the tabs will be used to support Ronald McDonald House in various ways such as supplying the House with consumable supplies like paper products, food, and cleaning supplies.
This community service project was one of 30 activities the local chapter of FBLA completed in conjunction with the State Project.
Betty Clark, advisor for the chapter, offered thanks to Brewton kindergarten as well as First United Methodist Church, FBLA members, students and personnel at the Escambia Brewton Career Technical Center for their contributions.
