Mr. Aaron Michael Gideons, 27, of Merritt Road, died Friday, June 18, 2009, in Evergreen. He was a native of Marianna, Fla., and a long time resident of Conecuh County. He was a carpenter in the construction industry and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, John Ed Gideons.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Marie (Keith) Ivey of Castleberry; a brother, Jason (Tracy) Sawyer of Castleberry; a sister, Crissy Sawyer of Brewton, a nephew, Blake Sawyer of Castleberry; and a number of other relatives, including an aunt, Jeannie Peavy.
Memorial services were held Monday, June 22, at 7 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Heller officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date and time with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
