Extradition papers have been signed by Alabama and Florida's governors, clearing the way for murder suspect Donald Ray Stallworth Jr. to be extradited to Florida, the Pensacola News Journal reported today.
Stallworth, a Brewton native and graduate of T.R. Miller High School, is one of seven people charged with murder in the shooting deaths of Byrd and Melanie Billings of Beulah, Fla.
Stallworth turned himself in to Escambia County authorities in his hometown, then declined to waive extradition at his first court appearance.
