Mrs. Myra Rae Norris Fore, 88, of Pine Street, died Friday,  July 31, 2009,  in a  local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Frisco City, a former resident of Atmore and a long-time resident of East Brewton. She was a member of East Brewton First Baptist Church, a polling place worker and a retired senior aide from DHR with 10 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Fore.
She is survived by one son, Gerald (Jo Ann) Fore of East Brewton; four daughters, Ann (Donald) Boutwell of Jay, Fla., Carolyn (Al) Smith of Navarre, Fla., Patsy Kirkland of Brewton, Emily White of Brewton; 13 grandchildren, Donnie Boutwell, Lisa White Anthony, Steve White, Kelly Boutwell Whitman, Gerald B. Fore, Stephanie Kirkland Bain, Amy Smith Padgett, Gregory White, Allison Kirkland Terrell, Tracey Fore Dantzler, Jennifer Smith Boulmay, Stacey Kirkland Till, Brandon K. Fore; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday,  Aug. 3,  2009,  at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Watts officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore with Williams Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Connor Batson, Greg White, Steve White, Donnie Boutwell, Gerry Gerald Fore, and Brandon Fore.
Honorary pallbearers were the employees of West Gate Village.
