Mr. James C. Setzer, 84, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at his residence. He was a native of Rogers, Texas and had been a resident of Flomaton for 10 years, coming from Athens, Texas. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and attended Gospel Light Temple in Century, Fla.
He is survived by two sons, Ray (Shirley) Setzer of Seagoville, Texas, and Larry (Cathy) Setzer of Carrollton, Texas; three daughters, Barbara Harrison and Sue Butler, both of Corinth, Texas, and Kay (Roy) Stanfield of Granberry, Texas; one brother, Roy (Faye) Setzer of Reesel, Texas; two sisters, Helen Nelson of Moore, Okla., and Norma Fay (David) Quinn of Sulfur Springs, Texas; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a friend and caregiver, Alice R. Pope of Flomaton, with Flomaton Funeral Home directing
