The Rev. Roger Glenn McCall, 49, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at his residence. He was a native of Century, Fla. and had lived in Jay, Fla., before living in Montgomery for many years. He had been living in Flomaton where he was pastor of the First United Mehodist Church for the past year.
He is survived by his wife, Pamelia McCall of Flomaton; a son, Robert (Stephanie) McCall of Jay, Fla.; his daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Bagdon of Firestone, Col.; two brothers, Wyman Odell McCall of Prattville, and Mayhew (Sherry) McCall of Baker, Fla.; a sister, Patsy (Ronald) Jackson of Jay; and four granchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. John Dickinson officiating. Burial followed at Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Munson, Fla. with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Joe Brantley, Alvin “Speedy” Brantley, Keith Jernigan, Kevin Pittman, Gary Pittman, Ronny Jackson, Carl Pittman and Mark Dees.
