With one week and three days left to the Champions Challenge against Leeds and another week until the first game of the 2009 season, the T.R. Miller Tigers are steady practicing for the upcoming games.
Riggs said after the first day in pads, his team was sore and beat-up some on Friday at practice.
Leeds was ranked No. 1 in 3A and T.R. Miller was ranked No. 3 in preseason polls.
Riggs said that makes the game more fun for other people.
Riggs said he thinks in the game against Leeds, he will play some more players than he might usually play.
T.R. Miller will take on Escambia County at home on Friday, Aug. 28 in their first game of the 2009 season. The game will be a non-region game.
