Off the 2008 team, W.S. Neal Lady Eagle head volleyball coach Britney Shelly lost only two seniors from a team that reached the class 4A regionals.
The 2009 team shows only two seniors with eight juniors on it.
Shelly said as far as her starting rotation, she did not lose but two people last year.
On the team this year for the Lady Eagles are seniors Megan Pence and Casey Wilson.
Juniors include, Sydney Andrews, Amanda Crawford, Brittany Revel, Rachael Browder, Whitney Douglas, Malary Booker, Athena Davis, and Haley Lum.
Shelly said she has two new girls on the team this season.
The other senior for the Lady Eagles, Megan Pence, will serve a lot this season Shelly said.
Rachael Browder is another Lady Eagle for the 2009 season.
As for the area, Shelly said she expects it to be similar as last season.
