Mr. Emory Cleveland “Cleve” Morris, 69, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., died Aug. 27, 2009 following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Atmore and served as head of security for John C. Bills Enterprise and retired from Pratt-Whitney Aircraft as a senior electronic technician. He was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jimmy” Morris and a granddaughter, Karen Victoria Morris.
He is survived by two daughters, Alfreda Herron of Peoria, Ill., and Carla J. (Richard) Byrne of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a son, Stephen Morris of Riviera Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Keyleigh, Angela, Wesley and Clayton; a brother, Glen Morris; and mother Vergie Taylor.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. at Brushy Creek Cemetery in Lenox, with the Rev. Douglas Blakney officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
