Visitors at Craver’s Funeral Home may find a new, but familiar, face at the establishment.
Heath Wilson recently became a partner at Craver’s joining co-owners Lavon Kelly and Barry VanHoosen in owning the business.
Wilson brings 16 years of experience and service to families of Escambia, Conecuh and surrounding counties to Craver’s. Having graduated from Bishop State Community College in 1998, he passed an exam through the National Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers the same year. In 1999, he passed the Florida State Board test and became licensed in that state as well.
Wilson, a licensed embalmer and funeral director in both Alabama and Florida, joined the partnership with Kelly and VanHoosen at Craver’s and Flomaton Brown Service Funeral Homes. Inc., recently following a lot of prayer and tough decisions, he said.
Wilson offered thanks to family and friends for their support during the decision making process.
