Walter Lewis golf tourney to play
The 6th annual Walter Lewis scholarship golf tournament will be held Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Country Club of Brewton.
The tournament will be a four-man scramble with $75 per player of $300 per team. This includes green fee, cart and lunch. TRM quarterback club to have party
The T.R. Miller Quarterback Club will have their annual Membership Appreciation Tailgate Party at 5 p.m. on Oct. 2 prior to the Calhoun game.
JD to have player and parent camp
Jefferson Davis Community College and Head Baseball Coach Darrell Blevins would like to invite you to join them Sept. 12, 2009 for their Most Valuable Player parent/child baseball clinic. The clinic will be held from 8 a.m. to noon and will be open to ages 5 through 65. The camp will take place at Warhawk Field at JDCC campus is $20. family. Call 809-1563 for info.
The purpose of the clinic is to foster the relationship between parent and child through the game of baseball. Parents will be introduced to teaching techniques and drills that will help them teach or coach their children about the game of baseball.
Parents should plan on participating in the drills and activities throughout the clinic day.
