JDCC drops third straight game

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team dropped their third straight game Monday after winning their season opener.
The loss Monday at home dropped JDCC to 1-3 overall as the Lady Warhawks lost 3-0 to Northwest Shoals.
JDCC lost game one 25-20, game two 25-22, and game three 25-22.
In the loss, Sydney Boutwell led with 12 digs and Niki Davis led with eight kills.
Laney Barr led with 11 assists and three service aces along with three from Kelsey Cook.
Antwinique Harris led with 31 total attacks in the loss for the Lady Warhawks.
JDCC was set to take on Faulkner University’s JV team at home on Thursday and will take on Gulf Coast and Williston State on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively,
JDCC will be back at home on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. against Pensacola Junior College.
