Lady Eagle volleyball now 3-3

W.S. Neal volleyball has gone 2-1 in their recent stretch of games to improve their record to 3-3.
W.S. Neal lost 2-0 to Northview in a tri-match in Atmore before turning around and beating Atmore 2-0 to improve to 2-3.
On Tuesday, W.S. Neal defeated Central 3-0 to improve to 3-3. The Lady Eagle JV team also defeated Central 2-0 to improve to 3-0 this season.
W.S. Neal was set to take on Jackson and Fruitdale in a tri-match on Thursday in Jackson after the B.C. Rain game was cancelled.
Northview 2, W.S. Neal 0
In game one, Northview won 25-19 over the Lady Eagles.
Athena Davis had five service points in the loss and Casey Wilson and Malary Booker had four each.
Wilson and Amanda Crawford had six kills each.
Two of Davis’ points were aces.
In game two, W.S. Neal lost 25-23 with Haley Lum and Davis having six points each.
W.S. Neal 2, Atmore 0
W.S. Neal picked up a 25-12 win over Atmore and a 25-12 win in game two to defeat the Lady Blue Devils.
Lum had seven service points and Davis had five. Davis had eight kills and Crawford had five.
W.S. Neal 3, Central 0
W.S. Neal defeated Central 27-25, 25-11, and 25-19.
In game one, Crawford had six service points along with Wilson and in game two, Whitney Douglas had seven service points and Lum and Davis had six.
In game three, Lum had nine service points.
Wilson had six kills and two blocks and Davis had eight kills and three blocks. Crawford had five kills and one block.
W.S. Neal JV 2, Central 0
In JV action, W.S. Neal won 25-19 and 25-20. In game one, Alea Fountain had 11 service points and in game two, Stephanie Lambert and Gracee Dixon both had six service points.
W.S.Neal will be back in action Tuesday at home against Monroe County and will take on T.R. Miller in Brewton Thursday.
