Mr. Michael Woodrow Gilmore, 54, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at his residence on McGougin Road. He was a native of Mobile and a long time resident of Brewton. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired tug boat deck hand.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Hendricks of Brewton; a son, Joshua Shane Gilmore of Brewton; a brother, Barry W. Morrell of Pensacola, Fla.; and a sister, Jean Corbin of Pensacola.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Wayne Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Dixonville RLDS Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
