Mrs. Lily Bell (Elizabeth) Moye, 89, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at her residence in Pineview. She was a native and resident of Pineview and was a founding member of Hall’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy and Dora Godwin; and her husbands, Allen Emmons and Johnny Moye.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen Emmons of Mobile; two brothers, T.J. (Barbara) Godwin of Pineview, and Charles (Linda) Godwin of Atmore; four grandchildren, Allen (Melissa) Haddock of Pensacola, Fla., Larry (Becky) Haddock of Perdido, Tom (Susan) Haddock of Navarre, Fla., and Carole (Daniel) Morris of Greenville S.C.; seven great-grandchildren, Nathaniel (Ashley) Haddock, Danielle Haddock, Danny Haddock, Kyle Haddock, Will Haddock, Lily Haddock and Madison Haddock; and one great-great-grandchild, Nathan Haddock.
Visitation will be held Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery on Foshee Road with Craver’s Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant Hospice.
