JDCC vball on win streak

After suffering through a 12-game losing streak and a streak of seven straight games lost without winning a game, the JDCC Lady Warhawk volleyball team is currently enjoying a two-game win streak.
JDCC had dropped to 3-16 overall, but has since defeated Lawson State and Faulkner University’s JV team. Those wins  improved the team record to 5-16 overall and to 2-2 in conference play.

Faulkner University JV 0
On Tuesday night at home, JDCC swept Faulkner 3-0 to get their second straight win and improve to 5-16.
JDCC won 25-15, 25-14, and 25-17 to get the win.
Niki Davis led with eight kills and Kaitlyn Melendez led with 22 attacks.
Laney Barr led with seven service aces and Sydney Boutwell led with 10 digs in the win.
JDCC 3,
Lawson State 0
JDCC ended their losing streak to get their first win since Sept. 11.
JDCC defeated Lawson State 3-0 to improve to 2-2 in conference play with a 26-24, 25-21, and a 25-21 win.
Antwinique Harris led with 10 kills and 29 attacks.
Barr led with three service aces and Boutwell had 15 digs.
Bevill Fayette 3,
JDCC 0
JDCC lost to Bevill State 3-0 as they lost 25-19, 25-14, and 25-17.
Melendez led with six kills and 38 attacks.
Lauren Himel and Barr had two service aces and Boutwell had 18 digs.
Wallace State-Hanceville 3, JDCC 0
JDCC lost 25-18, 25-6, and 25-14 to fall 3-0 to Wallace State and drop their record to 3-15 on the season.
Harris led with 16 kills and Davis led with 20 attacks.
Caitlyn Stewart, Chelsey Slone, and Davis had one service ace and Boutwell led with 12 digs.
