WSN volleyball continues streak

The W.S. Neal Lady Eagle volleyball team earned their fifth straight win Tuesday on the road at Greenville to improve their record to 10-7 this season.
W.S. Neal defeated Greenville 25-8 in game one, 25-20 in game two, and 25-15 in game three.
Megan Pence led with nine service points in game one and Haley Lum followed with six service points.
In game two, Lum had seven service points along with Sydney Andrews’ five.
In game three, Lum racked up 18 service points in the game, three more than Greenville had in the whole third game.
W.S. Neal went to Pleasant Home on Thursday and came back a winner to improve their record to 11-7 overall with their sixth straight win.
W.S. Neal was set to play in the Escambia County Tournament today at T.R. Miller High School in Brewton to finish the regular season schedule.
At 11 a.m., W.S. Neal will take on defending tournament champion T.R. Miller and will conclude with Flomaton High School at 1 p.m.
W.S. Neal claimed the No. 3 seed in their area and will begin play in their area tournament against No. 2 seed Jackson at UMS-Wright Prep School in Mobile on Monday. UMS was the No. 1 seed and B.C. Rain finished as the No. 4 seed.
The JV Lady Eagles of W.S. Neal lost to Pleasant Home to finish their 2009 season with an 8-2 record.
