Mr. Richard Floyd “Rickey” Croley, 61, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in Century. He was a native and lifelong resident of Century, and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Century Baptist Church. He was retired from CSX Transportation where he worked as a conductor. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Floyd Croley.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Hobbs Croley of Century; two sons, Christopher Croley of Chicago, Ill, and Bryan Croley of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Amy Croley and Stephanie (Matt) Gilmore, both of McDavid, Fla.; two sisters, Kathy (Terry) Bush of Century, and Dorothy (Billy) Sims of McDavid; and three grandchildren, Valerie Croley, Alexa Scarlett Castro, and Tyler Matthew Gilmore.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 29, at 12 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Fred Stallworth officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
