Lady Warhawks make state tournament

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team dropped a 3-0 loss to Southern Union at home to fall to 9-23 overall and to 5-8 in conference play.
JDCC lost 25-0, 25-23, and 25-19.
JDCC finished their regular season with a loss to PJC in Pensacola to end their regular season with a 9-24 record.
Stats for the two games were unavailable.
While the Lady Warhawks lost Southern Union, JDCC has qualified for the state tournament head coach Misti Nims said.
Nims said the Lady Warhawks will start play at the tournament on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. against Southern State Community College.
The tournament is at Gadsden State Community College Cherokee Campus in Centre.
