Mrs. Mary Louise Anderson Paul, 90, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. She was an employee at Brewton Medical Center until her retirement when she relocated to Rowlett, Texas. She was an active member of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Paul Sr.; and two grandsons, Marcus Coleman and Anthony Jones.
She is survived by her children, William (Johanna) Paul Jr. of Williamsburg, N.J., Annie Paul of Brewton, Bobby Paul of Decatur, Ga., Theodore (Easter) Paul of Riverside, Ga., Bertha Sanford of Rowlett, Texas, Claude Paul Jr. of Panama City Beach, Fla., Dorothy Paul of Dyer, Ind., James Paul of Atlanta, Ga., Deborah Parker of Chicago, Ill., 10 grandchildren, Tracey, Theresa, Trina, Sonya, Claude III, Jocelyn, Shannon, Keisha, William III, and Vincent; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Alberta Williams; three sisters-in-law, Laura Paul of Brewton, Marie Jones of Detroit, and Alfretta Smith of Hempstead, N.Y.; one brother-in-law, Robert Paul of Brewton; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric T. Andrews officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
