JDCC baseball to have camps
Jefferson Davis Community College and head baseball coach Darrell Blevins invites all players to join them for the month of December for some clinics and camps.
A hitting clinic will be held Saturday, Dec. 5. From 9 a.m. to noon and cost is $25.
A pitching clinic will be held Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon with cost also being $25.
The JDCC winter baseball camp will be held Monday Dec. 28- Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Players ages six to 18 will be held at Warhawk Field on the campus of JDCC and will be $75 if pre-registered before Friday, Dec. 25 and $90 if registered on the day of the camp.
Campers should plan on bringing a sack lunch everyday.

Brewton area golfers wanted
Brewton area junior golfers ages 12-18 are invited to compete in the AJGT Gulf Coast Junior Championship at Peninsula Golf Club in Gulf Shores on theweekend of Dec. 19-20.  The two-day, 36 hole tournament offers AJGA Tournament Exemptions to Boys and Girls Overall Champions and is ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard.  There is a free practice round on Friday, Dec. 18 and each player's entry fee includes a ticket to the full meal, buffet style banquet on Saturday, Dec. 19 at the
