The Christmas parade scheduled to roll through Brewton and East Brewton was cancelled because of rain expected for today.
But the parade has been rescheduled for one week later, at the same time.
The parade had been scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. today — when the chance of rain is at 80 percent, according to forecasts.
Chamber administrative assistant Michelle Hart said the chamber apologizes for the confusion about the parade schedule. The chamber initially said the parade would not be rescheduled.
The cancellation marks a first for the Brewton Christmas parade, Hart said.
Times for the parade will remain the same, with lineup beginning at 12:30 p.m. in East Brewton.
Sixty-three entries, including 18 floats, have registered to participate in the parade. Prize money will be award to the first, second, third and fourth place entries.
