Downtown industries were spared major damage from Tuesday’s flood, officials said.
T.R. Miller Mill experienced only minor problems, President Danny White said.
White said some facilities at the plant were damaged, but things could have been worse.
White said production was halted until operations started back on Thursday.
One building receiving a significant amount of water was the human resources office.
A mill employee said it would take some time to get the building back in working condition.
At Citation’s downtown facility, the plant was shut down for 48 hours but was able to reopen by Thursday after some cleanup and .
