Investigators with the Escambia County Child Advocacy Center are working on a case that has one man behind bars in the county.
Delbert Morrell, 39, was indicted in November by a grand jury on charges of enticing a child for immoral purposes. Morrell was arrested Dec. 23 and is being held at the Escambia County Detention Center in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Officials with the Escambia County Department of Human Resources and the Escambia County Child Advocacy Center are continuing to investigate the allegations against Morrell. John Gleaton, investigator for CAC, said Morrell had been living in Florida prior to his arrest.
Gleaton said due to the minor age of the victim or victims, details on the nature of the charges against Morrell could not be released.
Morrell may have new battles to face along with charges against him in Escambia County.
Flomaton Police Chief Terri Tolbert said her department has several charges pending against Morrell.
Morrell is listed as having a Simpson Drive address in Milton, Fla., according to arrest records.
