Mrs. Bonnie Pearl Smith Salter, 69, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native of Flomaton, and a long time resident of Brewton. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and retired from Judy Bond with more than 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Brantley and Barbara Ann Smith.
She is survived by three bothers, W.C. Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Lamar Smith and Jim Weatherspoon, both of Repton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral  Home  with the Rev. Bryan Garrett and the Rev. Buddy Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
