Mr. Anthony Samuel Fantini, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, in Jay, Fla. He was a native of Pennsylvania and a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1947. He later worked in the oil field industry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beadie Fantini; his mother, Maria DiAngelo; his father, David Fantini; and a sister, Josephine Frattone.
He is survived by two sisters, Helen Reimold and Gloria Belmonte; a daughter, Michelle (Greg) Dykes; grandchildren, Jana (Chris) Williamson, Jessica (Justin Swesey) Renfroe, James Renfroe, Billy Dykes, Brian Dykes and Brenan Dykes; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Young and Chandler Swesey; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Brewton. Burial was held at Wesley Chapel in Enterprise with Jay Funeral Home directing.
