Mrs. Annie Lois Griffin Johnson, 90, died at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Castleberry and a long time resident of Brewton. She was a member of Brewton First Baptist Church and retired from the Farmers Home Administration. She was preceded in death by her husband. S.C. Johnson, and a son, Carlton Jake Johnson Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Annette Johnson (Garrey) Cave of Brewton; four grandchildren, Allen (Madelyn) Cave of Brewton, Byron Johnson (Michelle) Moore of South Carolina, Angie (Tim) Ward of Birmingham, and Jennifer (Wayne) Cook of Evergreen; and eight great-grandchildren, Anna Catherine Wilson, Taylor Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Carter Johnson, Garrett Cave, Abigail Cave, Mary Frances Cook and Bonnie Cook.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10. from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at Brewton First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. at Brewton First Baptist Church with Brother, Jack Fitts, Brother Ron Headley, and Brother John Finklea officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
